Christian Trinity was founded in 1939 by John Rettinger as a result of a tent meeting in the east side of Detroit.
In the 1950s, the congregation of Christian Trinity gave its blessing to several families
who planted a church in Roseville - New Life Assembly (formerly Glad Tidings Assembly).
