Christian Trinity was founded in 1939 by John Rettinger as a result of a tent meeting in the east side
of Detroit.
In the 1950s, the congregation of Christian Trinity gave its blessing to several families who planted a church in Roseville - New Life Assembly (formerly Glad Tidings Assembly).
In 1969, Christian Trinity relocated in Eastpointe (then East Detroit) where growth continued.
Since 1930, Christian Trinity has been represented throughout the world by sending out nearly 20 ministers and missionaries from its congregation. Throughout its 70-year history, Christian Trinity has been pastored by several Godly men: John Rettinger 1939-1968 Donald Matthews 1968-1969 Robert Clark 1969-1981 Paul McCullough 1981-1985 Charles Stotts 1985-1988 Roger Kimerer 1988-1989 Louis Selzer 1989- present
