Author Gail Weathersby Guest Speaker

Gail’s story of redemption and miracles will take your breath away and bring you to tears in the best way. Her voice is as strong as her faith in God. Facing the shock of what happened to her son, Gail finds an untapped fierceness within. Her story of healing, dealing with the system, bringing her family back together, and experiencing miracles will inspire everyone present. The road she traveled from the streets of Detroit and the depths of addiction to living a whole-hearted life and developing a relationship with God demonstrates that change is possible, that out of despair can come hope, and that we are all much stronger than we know.

Night of Prayer

Night of Prayer

As a result of the COVID-19 virus and the recommendations of our President, the board and staff feel that it is in our best interest to temporarily suspend all services, events, and classes.  They are saying this will lift on March 31st.  As things change from day to day, we will do our best to keep things posted on our website. christiantrinitychurch.com One person said, “I knew Satan was going to derail our plans”.  He may have shifted us to another track; however, we are not off the tracks.

We hold to scriptures like those found in Genesis 50:20 that says, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”

This is truly going to be a time of spiritual growth for us as a church.  Rather than focusing on that which we are losing, we are going to focus on the time with God that we are going to be gaining.  That being said, I am asking that we as a church join in prayer and seeking God through His Word tonight from 6:30 to 7:45pm. (This time will be spent at home with the Lord during the time we would normally be at the church on a Wednesday night)

I also ask that we all spend some time fasting between our prayer time tonight and our online service Sunday morning.

Please pray for containment of this virus, our country as a whole, wisdom for out President along with pastors and other church leaders that have to make tough decisions for the good of our nation, pray for revival, pray that people will trust God over a system, pray that supplies will be stretched (like the loaves and fish), and that people would turn to God.

To quote my Bible College professor, Dr. Watson, we need to have “50/20 vision" as we remember that God has a reason for everything that happens.

A Call to Prayer!

Please pray for this upcoming event in accordance with this scripture of focus below.

Scripture of focus:

Isaiah 43:19-25 New International Version (NIV)

19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
    and streams in the wasteland.
20 The wild animals honor me,
    the jackals and the owls,
because I provide water in the wilderness
    and streams in the wasteland,
to give drink to my people, my chosen,
21     the people I formed for myself
that they may proclaim my praise.

22 “Yet you have not called on me, Jacob,
you have not wearied yourselves for[a] me, Israel.
23 You have not brought me sheep for burnt offerings,
nor honored me with your sacrifices.
I have not burdened you with grain offerings
nor wearied you with demands for incense.
24 You have not bought any fragrant calamus for me,
or lavished on me the fat of your sacrifices.
But you have burdened me with your sins
and wearied me with your offenses.

Come as you are, change as you come.

Come as you are, change as you come.
